Regular maintenance of the strainer basket is essential to prolong the life of your InverMaster IM1C-16 pump. Frequently inspect the basket through the transparent lid and empty it when debris accumulates. Always disconnect the power supply before maintenance. To clean, press the cover plate to open, unscrew the strainer basket lid counterclockwise, and lift out the basket. Remove trapped refuse and rinse if necessary, avoiding knocking the plastic basket on hard surfaces to prevent damage. Inspect the basket and lid O-ring for damage such as tears or cracks and replace if needed. Hand-tighten the lid upon reassembly. Periodic cleaning prevents blockages and ensures optimal pump performance.
