Setting Speed Limits to Protect Connected Equipment

Learn how to set speed limits on your InverMaster pump to protect connected equipment and maintain optimal flow.

The InverMaster IM1C-16 controller allows users to set speed limits on the pump's running capacity to protect other connected equipment such as sand filters. Speed limits can be adjusted between 60% and 100% in the parameter settings menu. Setting the speed limit to 100% means no limitation, allowing the pump to operate between 30% and 120% capacity under normal conditions. Certain modes, including self-priming, manual self-priming, auto inverter mode, and timer flow rate settings, bypass the speed limit to ensure proper function. To adjust the speed limit, enter parameter settings by holding both buttons for 3 seconds in off mode, then navigate to the speed limit address and set the desired percentage. This feature helps maintain system safety and performance by preventing excessive flow rates.
