Understanding and Managing Rapid pH Changes
Explanation of causes and management of rapid pH changes in pool water.
Rapid pH changes are often caused by refilling water directly into the skimmer, which disrupts the pH control system. When such rapid changes occur, the ASIN AQUA Salt system temporarily stops controlling pH for two hours to allow stabilization. This safety feature can be manually disabled if necessary. After the pH stabilizes or the two-hour period elapses, the system automatically returns to normal operation. To prevent rapid pH fluctuations, avoid adding water directly to the skimmer and monitor water chemistry regularly.
